dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Background: Globally, 14 per cent of the global burden of disease is attributed to mental illness – with 75% of those affected being found in low-income countries – which includes a broad spectrum of diagnoses, from common mental illnesses such as anxiety and substance abuse, to severe illnesses like psychosis. Objectives: To determine the magnitude and factors associated with common mental disorders among high school students Gulele sub city Methods: an institutional based cross-sectional study and it will be done in four high schools which are found in Gulele Sub-city. Time: This study will be held from March to July, 2018. Budget: personnel = 5350 Birr Material = 4450.25 Birr Communication and transportation = 2500 Birr Total with 10% contingency = 12,423.25 Birr
