Objective: To assess the magnitude of workplace violence and associated factors among emergency nurses working at public hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 2025. Methods: A facility -based cross-sectional study was conducted on 243 randomly selected nurses working at public hospitals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from Nov 15, 2024 – Dec 25, 2024. Bi variable and Multivariable logistic regression were employed and in the Bi-variable analysis all independent variables each at a time was checked for the presence of association and P value of < 0.25 were used to make a variable candidate for multivariable logistic regression and those variables, found to have p value of <0.25, was taken to multivariable analysis to control for the effect of confounder. Finally independent variables with P <0.05 was declared for having a statistically significant association with the dependent variable. Adjusted odds ratios with 95% Confidence Interval (CI) were computed to determine the presence and strength of the association. Time Frame: The study was conducted from Nov 15 – Dec 15, 2024.
